The committee concerns itself with questions of international importance regarding the security and demilitarization throughout all countries and regions, along with ensuring that citizens across the globe remain protected. This year we will be adopting a unique ROP of UNGA PLENARY in this committee.

Agenda

Freeze date: November 29, 1947.

Executive Board

Idhant

Meet Idhant Singh Chauhan, the Chairperson of the Committee, an 18 year old with too much time on his hands and too many ideas in his head. When he’s not busy with MUNS or debating of any kind, he is writing random History themed stories or paragraphs, floating around or jamming to AM at dawn. He expects delegates to study the BG and agenda and push good debate.

Vijay

Vijay, a first-year student, fell into the pit of chaos and crisis committees in his first MUN and hasn’t escaped that pit — he still loves it there. His favourite hobby is to defend genocide; if you don’t see him doing that, he will be re-watching Suits or sleeping.

He is the person you can call anytime and talk about the most random things and still relate with him. He loves helping uprising delegates with the quote, “Embracing chaos might be the path to finding peace,” and he looks forward to this new opportunity

Shruthikaa

Shruthikaa Balaji is an avid learner and MUN enthusiast. Her excellence speaks over her growing experience, as she strives to provide all delegates an interesting and intellectual delegate experience just like what she would expect as a delegate. Global advocacy and justice drive her to research on solutions that are inspired by her science background. Her 13 years of experience as a classical dancer and mastery over various art forms proves that she is driven by passion, “A passion that will enhance our MUN experience”. She believes that “when you have a passion for something then you tend not only to be better, but you work harder at it too
