The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) is a key UN agency dedicated to combating global threats posed by drugs, organised crime, terrorism, and corruption. It works with member states to promote justice and strengthen the rule of law by providing technical assistance, supporting international cooperation, and conducting research on crime and drug-related issues. UNODC also assists countries in implementing treaties and developing effective legal frameworks to address these challenges. Farhan, a familiar face in the circuit is a force to be reckoned with. You can usually find him yelling in a committee at the top of his lungs or stressing about documentation deadlines.
Dhiya
Dhiya is an AS-level student at APL Global School. She’s all about combining innovation, sustainability, and creativity in everything she does. As the team lead for a science project on algae and soil fertility, she helped her team win a gold medal at the Cambridge Sustainability competition.This year, she’s stepping in as the Director of UNCND at APL MUN 2025, where she’s ready to guide delegates through conversations that matter, from global health to humanitarian impact.
